Moritz von Grotthuss, CEO, is a trained lawyer with extensive experience in general management, legal consulting, inhouse contract management as well as technical sales and marketing. 

Prof. Dr. Ludwig Jonas, Head of the Scientific Board and shareholder, studied biology at the University of Rostock. After a post-doc as well as his promotion (Dr. rer. nat) in the Department of Zoology he moved on the Department of Pathology, where he was appointed to a Professor in 1996. Prof. Dr. Ludwig Jonas holds lectures in Medical Biology for dentists, human medicin, medical biotechnology, electron microscopy as well as herbs and phytomedicin. He has performed research in a area of phytomedicin, with a special focus on obisity as well as diabetis II, for serveral years. Prof. Dr. Ludwig Jonas has written 182 publications and holds two patents. 

Dr. Dirk Michalik, Member of the Scientific Board and shareholder, holds a Master in Chemistry and a PhD in Organic Chemistry. His scientific career includes research at the Universities of Rostock (Germany), Seville (Spain) and Utrecht (The Netherlands). Dr. Dirk Michalik has been working a the Leibniz Institute of Catalysis at the University of Rostock since 2002. He was appointed Head of NMR Devision of the Institute of Chemistry at the University of Rostock in 2005.
